In the initial rehabilitation phase of treatment we are trying to regain normal range of motion; however, once that is attained we start to build function and control of the joints involved.

These exercises involve combined motions in all three planes of movement at the same time, mimicking the way our bodies naturally function in daily activities. By challenging all three planes of movement together instead of individually, we can build stronger and more stable joints to avoid future injuries.
